The Chennai Super Kings got off to a rollicking start in their Tata IPL “El Clasico” clash against the Mumbai Indians after the home team won the toss and put them in to bat.

Sanju Samson, accompanied by Shivam Dube, was undefeated on 32 as CSK completed the power play on a healthy 72 for two wickets. The men out were skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sarfaraz Khan, both for 14, off the bowling of Allah Ghazanfar and Kiwi spinner Mitchell Santner respectively.
