POWER PLAY UPDATE: LSG struggle to 35-1 v RCB

Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram both struck enormous sixes as Lucknow Super Giants struggled to 35-1 in the Power Play after Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and chose to bowl first at the traditionally high scoring M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
But Markram departed for 12 when a leading edge to a full toss was caught at cover off seamer Rasikh Salam and Australian veteran Josh Hazlewood bowled two wonderful overs at a cost of just six runs to restrict the visitors and, more importantly, send LSG captain Rishabh Pant (0) to the dugout with a blow to the left hander’s elbow.

Marsh had 22 from 19 balls with West Indian Nicholas Pooran on just a single from six balls faced at the conclusion of the Power Play.
