Abhishek, Head blast SRH to 79 for one v Punjab Kings

Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head gave the Sunrisers Hyderabad their customary flying start as they reached 79 for one in the Power Play, having been asked to bat first by the Punjab Kings in their Tata IPL match at the Ranjiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Abhishek flayed an eye-watering 35 from just 13 balls with two fours and four sixes while Head was only marginally more measured with 35* from 16 deliveries with a trio of fours and sixes.

Kiwi fast bowler Lockie Ferguson stemmed the flow of runs with the wicket of Abhishek in the fifth over which cost just six runs after Arshdeep Singh and Marco Jansen had conceded 59 runs between them in the first four overs. Ishan Kishan was unbeaten on seven after six overs.
