World heavyweight champ set for title defence against Bálor

CM Punk will defend the world heavyweight title against Finn Bálor of The Judgment Day at WWE Elimination Chamber on Saturday.

After leaving The Judgment Day in the backstage area, Bálor lost an incredible World Title Match against Punk on Raw in Belfast, with The Second City Saint raising the challenger's arm after the bout.

When he was denied entry into the Royal Rumble Match, though, Bálor attacked Punk to keep himself in title contention. In a war of words on the February 9 edition of Raw, Punk asked General Manager Adam Pearce to give Bálor a championship rematch at WWE Elimination Chamber.

The title fight will occur after 2026 Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns declared that he would challenge Punk for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania.
