Tuskers win toss and bat in KZN derby clash

The Moothee Ram Tuskers won the toss and chose to bat first in their CSA One-Day Cup match against the Hollywoodbets Dolphins at the Maritzburg Oval on Sunday.

The home team will be particularly keen to open their credit account, having lost their first two matches against the Momentum Multiply Titans and Goldrush Boland. The Dolphins, the reigning champions, lost their opening fixture against the Dafabet Warriors but bounced back with victory in their opening home fixture in Durban, beating the Titans in a lightning-affected match.

The Dolphins have the added challenge of losing a number of first-choice players to the Proteas’ T20 squad in New Zealand.
