Lions bowl first with title defence on the line

DP World Lions won the toss and opted to chase against Renault Potchefstroom North West Dragons in the CSA T20 Challenge at the Wanderers on Wednesday.
Both sides are scratching around for positives as the 2026 competition reaches the sharp end.
A bottom half finish is nailed on for the Dragons as they play out their final fixture in Johannesburg, while reigning champions the Lions sit winless and at the foot of the log.
The hosts do have two more opportunities over the weekend, though, as they attempt a smash-and-grab raid on the play-off places.
