WEEK'S WRAP: Selbourne squash the competition, Graeme College victorious

Selborne College confirmed their status as the number one squash team in South Africa with an unbeaten run at the Saints Squash Festival, in Bloemfontein, over the weekend.
They didn't have matters all their own way, however, with the hosts, St Andrew's School, pushing them all the way.

When the sides met in the last of their five matches on Sunday, both sported clean records. St Andrew's had accounted for Michaelhouse (6-0), Hoërskool Zwartkop (5-1), Grey High (4-2), and Pretoria Boys High (5-1), while Selborne owned wins over Pretoria Boys High (4-2), St John's College A (4-2), Maritzburg College (6-0), and Hoërskool Zwartkop (4-2).

TIDBURY STEERS GRAEME COLLEGE TO VICTORY
Corbin Tidbury produced a classy all-round performance to help Graeme College secure a 32-run win over Selborne College in a declaration match at Selborne on Saturday.
It was the second clash between the sides in two days. They also met on Friday evening in a thrilling T20 match.

Graeme batted first and totalled 155/5 in their 20 overs. Selborne replied with 155/7, which sent the contest into a Super Over, from where Graeme College secured a win.
On Saturday, the hosts sent their guests in to bat, with Graeme College responding with 209 all out in 64.2 overs. They then produced a strong bowling performance to dismiss Selbourne for 177 in 45 overs.

UPCOMING: Silverware on the line at 50th Vides Water Polo Tournament
The prestigious Vides Water Polo Tournament, hosted by Selborne College in East London, will return for its 50th anniversary event this coming weekend.
The tournament, which attracts some of the country's top water polo-playing schools, runs from 12 to 14 February at Selborne’s main pool and the Clarendon High School for Girls' Aquatic Centre.
It promises to be yet another thrill-packed event, with schools from the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Gauteng, and KwaZulu-Natal in action.
St David's Marist Inanda is the defending champion after defeating St Andrew's College 9-5 in last year's final.
