With crucial points on the line and qualification ambitions starting to take shape, several heavyweight clashes headline the latest round of fixtures, including Atlético de Madrid v Bayern München, Barcelona v Aston Villa, and Manchester United v Roma.

All matches kick off at 9pm CAT unless otherwise stated.

Broadcast details

All UEFA Champions League Matchday 4 fixtures will be broadcast live on SuperSport across its UEFA Champions League channels.

Tuesday, 3 November

Shakhtar Donetsk v Sporting CP (6:45pm)

History favours the Portuguese side heading into this encounter. The clubs met in the 2008/09 Champions League group stage, with Sporting CP winning both meetings 1-0. Sporting are also unbeaten in eight UEFA matches against Ukrainian opposition, winning seven of those encounters.

There is plenty at stake for striker Luis Suárez, who has scored in three consecutive Champions League appearances. Another goal would see him set a new club record and match the Colombian record of four straight scoring appearances in the competition.

Galatasaray v Stuttgart (6:45pm)

This will be the first UEFA meeting between the sides, although the Turkish giants have struggled against German opposition on home soil, failing to win any of their last nine home matches against Bundesliga clubs.

Victor Osimhen is also chasing history. The striker sits on eight Champions League goals for Galatasaray and needs two more to draw level with Burak Yılmaz as the club's second-highest scorer in the competition.

Atlético de Madrid v Bayern München

One of the marquee fixtures of Matchday 4 pits two European heavyweights against each other. While Bayern hold the overall head-to-head advantage, Atlético boast an impressive home record against German opposition and are unbeaten in all three home meetings with Bayern.

The spotlight will also be on Harry Kane, who has scored in each of his last 10 Champions League appearances. Another goal would see him equal Cristiano Ronaldo's competition record of 11 consecutive scoring appearances.

Veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is on the verge of history, needing just one appearance to become the German player with the most Champions League appearances outright.

Barcelona v Aston Villa

Another standout clash sees Aston Villa travel to Catalonia for their first competitive meeting with Barcelona since winning the 1982 UEFA Super Cup.

Barcelona are unbeaten in their last 15 UEFA home matches against English opposition and will again look to teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, who is one goal away from becoming the outright highest-scoring teenager in Champions League history.

Villa's record in Spain offers little encouragement, with just one victory from eight UEFA away matches on Spanish soil.

Feyenoord v Inter

These sides shared memorable encounters in both the UEFA Cup and Champions League in recent years, with each club eliminating the other once.

Inter arrive unbeaten in their last 14 UEFA matches against Dutch opposition, while Feyenoord have never lost a Champions League home game against an Italian club in the group or league phase.

Marcus Thuram will be aiming to continue his strong record against the Dutch champions after scoring in both legs of last season's Round of 16 meeting.

Bodø/Glimt v Lille

This first-ever UEFA meeting pairs two of Europe's most entertaining teams.

Bodø/Glimt's home form has been exceptional, with four consecutive Champions League home victories, including wins against Manchester City, Inter, Sporting CP and Borussia Dortmund.

Interestingly, both clubs have seen exactly 39 goals scored across their last 10 Champions League matches, averaging 3.9 goals per game.

LASK v Slovan Bratislava

Fresh from earning their first Champions League proper victory against Sporting CP, LASK will be confident against a Slovan side that has lost all 11 of its Champions League matches to date.

Former LASK defender Kevin Wimmer returns to familiar surroundings as one of several storylines surrounding this first UEFA meeting between the clubs.

Manchester United v Roma

Few fixtures in recent Champions League history have produced as many memorable moments.

Manchester United have won all four previous home meetings against Roma, scoring an astonishing 15 goals in those matches, including the famous 7-1 victory in 2007.

Roma's struggles in England are equally striking, with just one win from 21 UEFA away games against English opposition and no victories in their last 16 such matches.

Villarreal v Paris Saint-Germain

These sides meet for the first time in UEFA competition.

Paris Saint-Germain arrive in outstanding form, unbeaten in their last 13 Champions League matches, while Villarreal have generally performed well against French opposition in European competition.

Midfielder Vitinha is one goal away from matching Deco's tally of 13 Champions League goals, moving him further up the list of Portugal's leading scorers in the competition.
