Fresh from the Indonesian Grand Prix at Mandalika, Jorge Martin reclaimed the championship lead and now holds a slender two-point advantage over Marc Marquez. Meanwhile, Marco Bezzecchi's victory in Indonesia has kept him within striking distance, ensuring a three-way battle remains alive heading into Australia.

WHY PHILLIP ISLAND IS SPECIAL

Located on Victoria's spectacular coastline south of Melbourne, Phillip Island is widely regarded by riders as one of MotoGP's finest venues.

The circuit is famous for its fast, flowing corners, minimal heavy braking zones and unpredictable coastal weather, where strong winds can dramatically affect bike setup and race strategy.

The venue has long been a fan and rider favourite, rewarding bravery, smooth riding and commitment through its high-speed layout.

RIDERS TO WATCH

Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing): Arrives with momentum after extending Aprilia's excellent recent form.

Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo): Just two points off the lead and determined to hit back immediately.
