CAF CL fixtures revealed as Sundowns draw hosts FC Masar in opener

Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies have been drawn in a challenging Group A for the 2026 CAF Women's Champions League, where they will face hosts FC Masar of Egypt, Moroccan outfit FUS Rabat and Cameroon's Lekié Football Filles.

Group B features fellow North African heavyweights AS FAR of Morocco, Uganda's Kawempe Muslim Ladies, Mali's USFAS Bamako and a yet-to-be-confirmed WAFU B representative.

The final place in the tournament remains undecided, with the WAFU B representative set to be determined when the suspended encounter between Edo Queens of Nigeria and Ampem Darkoa of Ghana resumes in Cairo on 29 October.

Sundowns' quest for continental glory gets underway on 1 November when they take on Egyptian champions FC Masar in the headline fixture of the opening day. Earlier on the same day, FUS Rabat will face Lekié Football Filles.

The Brazilians return to action on 4 November against Lekié Football Filles before rounding off their group-stage campaign with a potentially decisive clash against FUS Rabat on 7 November.

In Group B, former champions AS FAR open their campaign against Kawempe Muslim Ladies on 2 November, while USFAS Bamako will meet the eventual WAFU B representatives.

The group-stage action will continue through 8 November before the competition moves into the knockout rounds. The winners of Group A will meet the runners-up from Group B in the semifinals, while the Group B winners will face the Group A runners-up.

The third-place playoff is scheduled for 14 November, with the final set to take place at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia on 15 November at 17:00 local time.

Besides competing for Africa's premier women's club title, the participating teams will also be chasing a place in the qualifying stage of the 2027 FIFA Women's Champions Cup.
