Nice re-sign Ivorian forward Wahi on loan

Elye Wahi has returned to Nice on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt just months after helping the French Ligue 1 side beat the drop.
The 23-year-old Ivory Coast forward joined the club on the Cote d'Azur on loan in January and his late brace in May helped Nice beat Ligue 2's Saint-Etienne in the promotion/relegation play-off.

Nice confirmed on Monday Wahi would join for the season with an option to make the deal permanent at the end of his loan.
The signing was expected after Wahi was given a warm welcome by Eagles fans at the airport late on Sunday.
He will be available for Nice's trip to Paris FC on Sunday.
According to a source, Nice will pay 1.5 million euros ($1.75m) for the loan and can make the deal permanent for 15 million euros.
Last season, Wahi scored nine goals in 19 matches as Nice struggled to beat the drop, a year after finishing fourth and reaching the Champions League qualifying rounds.
