Pirates announce departure of seven players
Orlando Pirates has announced the exit of seven players ahead of the new season, some who were already known.
Centre-back Thabiso Sesane and midfielder Salaelo Rasebotja have joined Siwelele, while the duo of right-back Siyabonga Ndlozi and left-wing Gomolemo Khoto are off to Sekhukhune United.

Defensive midfielder Sonwabo Khumalo and centre-back Blessing Ngiba have gone to second-tier Midlands Wanderers, while forward Seth Green has signed for Durban City.

“Each of these players has made a valuable contribution to the club during their time at Orlando Pirates, both on and off the field, and their efforts have not gone unnoticed,” Pirates said in a statement on Monday.
“The club extends its sincere gratitude to each player for their dedication and professionalism throughout their tenure with us.
“On behalf of the entire Orlando Pirates family, the Club wishes these players continued success and fulfilment as they embark on the next chapters of their respective careers.”
Between the seven, only Ndlozi made a single league appearance for the side, playing 18 minutes against Polokwane City in October.
