Martin soars to Silverstone Saturday gold as Aprilia clinch first Sprint 1-2-3
World Championship leader Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing) raced to a second Tissot Sprint victory of the season at the Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Great Britain as the No 89 completed a golden day at Silverstone on Saturday to extend his championship advantage ahead of Sunday’s Grand Prix.
Second went to Ai Ogura (SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team), who limited the small damage done in the title race with a fine ride to a silver medal.
With the heroic Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) earning bronze, Aprilia celebrated a first 1-2-3 in a Sprint.
