FULL-TIME: SHARKS 24-24 MUNSTER. But the Sharks go through because they won the match-deciding kicking contest after extra-time 6-4.

Davids slots his second attempt to send the Sharks through to the semi-finals.

Scannell makes amends and the score is 5-4 to the Sharks.

Jordan Hendrikse nails his second attempt to extend the Sharks' lead to 5-3.

Crowley bends his second attempt to make it 4-3.

Munster trail the Sharks 4-2 in the kicking contest. Crowley will line up a shot next.

Connor Murray knocks over Munster's second. The score is 3-2.

Davids knocks a third kick over for the Sharks, who lead the kicking contest 3-1.

Oh, it's miss from Scannell for Munster. The Sharks are in the lead.

Each team will have three kickers taking kicks from different positions on the field and they will all have a 30-second window to take the kick in.

Level on points, level on tries, this game will be decided by kicks at goal. This is unprecedented.

It goes horribly wrong for the Sharks at the lineout, but Hendrikse saves the day. Time is up on the clock.

Fassi goes to the air and chases down his own kick with a giant leap. The Sharks spread the ball wide and there's an overlap, but the ball is knocked on. Munster pounce on the loose ball and Crowley ends a spiralling kick down field.

Munster survive the scrum and Crowley sends it long.

Will the Sharks march on to the semi-finals or will Munster? We're four minutes away from finding the answer to that question.

There's about five minutes left in this clash and Munster are still on the back-foot. It's all the Sharks. They carry the ball up from the back off the lineout, but Munster somehow keep the carrier up off the ground, making it a maul. Scrum to Munster.

The Sharks earn another scrum penalty. Jaden Hendrikse gets good distance on his kick to the line.

Munster create a huge overlap, but Healy squanders their chance to score with a knock on. Sharks scrum.

KICK-OFF: Munster kicks deep and the Sharks fail to gather. There's a knock on and Munster will have scrum in a promising position on the field.

HALF-TIME IN EXTRA-TIME: SHARKS 24-24 MUNSTER. It's all over the show at Kings Park, but Munster survive a difficult period to go into the half-time of extra-time still deadlocked at 24-24.

The Sharks walk right over the ball on Munster's scrum feed. These Sharks are smelling blood. The crowd roars.

Munster are holding on for dear life here. They will feed the scrum.

Munster then successful take the ball at the lineout, but then concede possession. The Sharks mount another pacy attack, but a forward pass halts them.

And Munster stand their ground and force a turnover penalty. Excellent work by the visitors under immense pressure.

Jaden Hendrikse finds touch inside the 22. They charge at the Munster defence with their bulky forwards.

A big scrum by the Sharks earn them a penalty. They will kick to the line.

Munster's exit kick didn't travel too far, affording the Sharks an attacking lineout. But Hendrikse then decides on a box kick into the 22. Munster's Kilgallen stands tall and takes the kick and calls for a mark.

KICK-OFF: Hendrikse gets the first half of extra-time underway.

That's it. The game is headed to extra-time (two 10-minute halves). If the teams can still not be separated, the match winner will be determined by the most number of tries scored. Should both teams have the same number of tries, the result will be determined by place-kicks.

The game is now well into stoppage time and the scores are still level. It if stays like this, it'll go to extra time.

This game is on a knife's edge right now. Mapimpi just made a line break, but Jaden Hendrikse couldn't hold onto the inside pass. Munster pounce on possession and Kilgallen kicks it out on the full, luckily for him, the ref brings them back for a scrum for the knock on.

From the restart, Munster set up a ruck and Murray hacks it down town.

PENALTY, MUNSTER, MURRAY. 24-24. The scores are level at Kings Park as Connor Murray nails a long-range penalty for the visitors.

Cynical and stupid by the Sharks. With Munster's attack going side to side instead of forward, the Sharks slap the ball down and concede a penalty. Munster will line up a kick at goal.

CONVERSION, SHARKS, HENDRIKSE. 24-21.

TRY, SHARKS, MBATHA. 22-21. The Sharks charge over the gainline, first via Andre Esterhuizen and then through Fez Mbatha, who burrows over to score.

The Sharks want to play. They win a penalty and kick to the line.

We're into the final 10 minutes of the this playoff. In less than 10 minutes, one of these teams' season will be over.

The experienced campaigner Connor Murray is now on for Munster. The Irish side will hope he can help them see out this result.

CONVERSION, SHARKS, HENDRIKSE. 17-21.

TRY, SHARKS, FASSI. 15-21. Oh, the element of surprise works wonders for the Sharks. Instead of walking the ball over the tryline, Hendrikse takes it out at the back and swings it so Fassi, who waltzes in.

As the camera pans to a worried Kolisi, this team opts for another scrum.

The Sharks pack puts their opposition in reverse with a powerful scrum, earning them another penalty.

The Sharks turn down the three points on offer and opt for an attacking scrum on the 5m line.

Munster transgress and the penalty goes to the Sharks.

The Sharks waste no time in getting the restart off and with that swiftness comes a penalty for the hosts. They are trying to drive their way over the line from a maul. So far, Munster have shut up shop.

CONVERSION, MUNSTER, CROWLEY. 10-21.

TRY, MUNSTER, Kilgallen. Oh dear, oh dear. A grubber kick by Crowley, a slip at the back by Fassi and Munster are in for another try.

We're into the final quarter of the game. The Sharks are trailing Munster 10-12.

Munster's game management on either side of the ball has been top-notch.

CONVERSION, MUNSTER, CROWLEY. 10-14.

TRY, MUNSTER, WYCHERLEY. 10-12. Munster strike back and what a strike it is. They go from one end of the field to the other in no time to score a scintillating try.

PENALTY, SHARKS, JADEN HENDRIKSE. 10-7.

The crowd roars as the Sharks edge forward, but Munster are caught offside and the referee opts to call it instead of playing advantage.

The Sharks are now building momentum. They work their way close to the tryline, but Kolisi fumbles the ball. Abrahams clears the ball away for Munster. The Sharks come again from a lineout.

Ox Nche stays strong and on his feet at the scrum and win a penalty for his side.

Tshituka escapes sanction for a danger tackle on Craig Casey. Scrum to the Sharks.

It's fitting that Ethan Hooker scored for the Sharks. He has been the only bright spark for the Sharks so far in the game.

CONVERSION, SHARKS, HENDRIKSE. 7-7.

TRY, SHARKS, HOOKER. 5-7. The centre takes it upon himself to make something happen for the Sharks and he does brilliantly to slice apart the Munster defence for their opening try.

Munster a penalty, but Crowley's kick to the line is brilliantly kept in play by Fassi.

The Sharks look to kick-start their attack through Jordan Hendrikse and Aphelele Fassi.

Van Heerden fields the kick and wins a penalty for the Sharks. Munster pinged for not releasing the tackled player.

KICK-OFF: Crowley gets the second half under way.

HALF-TIME: SHARKS 0-7 MUNSTER. The home trail by seven at the midway mark at Kings Park. Can Munster maintain this performance and cause a big upset?

The Sharks' lineout ball is pilfered from the fingertips of their jumper.

After a short break in play due to an injury to Mbonambi, the game resumes with a Munster lineout.

And yet another Sharks attack goes to waste as Kolisi's wild pass rolls into touch.

Mapimpi takes on the Munster defence and shreds them. He is brought down metres from the tryline, but as the ball is passed wide, it is intercepted. That is another attack that disintegrates.

An aimless kick over the top inside the 22 is collected by Munster and they clear the down field, but only as far as Jordan Hendrikse, who starts another Sharks attack from deep.

A scathing run by Ethan Hooker got the Sharks on the front-foot. They are inside the 22 now.

The only contest that has been remotely even, is the aerial battle between the backs.

Jordan Hendrikse hooks the kick and the score remains 0-7 in favour of Munster.

The penalty is just reward for the Sharks' scrum dominance.

Fassi tries to go around the Munster defence, but he made literally no ground because he ran sideways. The referee brings them back for a Sharks penalty.

Crowley's kick is charged down, but luckily for Munster he recovers quickly to regather possession.

Hendrikse launches an up and under and Mapimpi chases, but he knocks on.

The Sharks win a penalty, but Jordan Hendrikse doesn't find touch. It's little errors like that preventing the Sharks to make in-roads.

The Sharks desperately need to get on the scoreboard here. They are not playing well, at all.

The first quarter showing by the Sharks has been nothing short of shambolic.

Penalty to the Sharks as Jaden Hendrikse and Vincent Koch beat everyone to the ruck and force a turnover. The Sharks find touch on halfway.

The Sharks have no answer for Munster's excellent tactical kicking here. The visitors have successfully pinned the Sharks back in their own half with superb kicks in behind the defence.

The Munster fans in the crowd are stunned as Crowley shockingly miss a regulation kick at goal from right in front.

And the Sharks come up with an error. Penalty to the Munster.

Munster are making headway inside the Sharks 22 again. This after an error by Fassi gave them an attacking lineout. Munster are sweeping to the right, putting the Sharks under pressure.

Sharks lock Jason Jenkins is off with an injury and has been replaced by Emile van Heerden.

The amount of handling errors coming from these Sharks are ridiculous.

CONVERSION, MUNSTER, CROWLEY. 0-7.

TRY, MUNSTER, NASH. 0-5. This try comes off a brilliant counter attack after a poor kick by Hendrikse. Munster launched via the left flank and then Crowley kick-passed to the right for Nash, who shrugged off Mapimpi.

Jack Crowley exits expertly for Munster. Etzebeth secures the ball for the Sharks at the lineout. They go to the air, but the ball bounces kindly for Munster, who attack from deep.

Hendrikse found touch on the 22m line. The Sharks are now on the front-foot. But the knock on comes.

A couple of resets later and the scrum is yet to be completed.

A big mix up between two Munster players leads to a knock on.

Munster are playing at a far greater pace than the Sharks when in possession of the ball.

The Sharks are attacking on the edge of the 22. But just as the referee calls the advantage over for a Munster knock on, Etzebeth and Hendrikse runs in front of each other and get pinged for blocking. Penalty to Munster.

Munster clear the ball away from danger and the Sharks will feed the first lineout.
